Johnita Wemken created Lucky Find Market, Inc. in 2016 to give small businesses and local vendors a space to connect with customers. Johnita has over 30 years of event marketing and business development experience and is also the founder of Not By Luck Ranch Animal Sanctuary and Just Fun Jewelry. Johnita is a home school mom to her two children, a golf and goat addict, and passionate about rescuing and providing sanctuary to America’s wild burros.
Blaize Martin
Event Manager
Blaize Martin began with Lucky Find Market as a wee one helping his mom, Johnita Wemken, set up the events. Blaize asked to sell a product at the markets and so the Junior Entrepreneurs 501(c)(3) program was born. At Lucky Find Market you will now find Blaize working his Seymore’s Plants & Gifts table or managing the events set-up.
Michael Martin
Bartender & Jack of All Trades
Michael Martin is a skilled craftsman and sometimes a vendor in the markets. Most often you will find Mike behind the bar pouring those festive drinks. Mike also helps by just doing what needs to be done and offering logistical support where ever needed.
Desiree Chase
Master Greeter
Desiree is the first face you see at most Lucky Find events. She is a Loomis local, a home school mom of two lovely girls (who you will often find at the markets) and a genuine asset to our team. Desiree is full of information and ideas so be sure and say hello next time you see her at the front door or raffle table.
